Ingredients
2 pints strawberries
2 tbsp honey
Pinch of salt
Juice from 1/2 lemon
Optional: 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or 1/8 of a teaspoon rosewater
Method
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Wash your strawberries. Trim and discard of their tops. Cut strawberries in half and spread in an even layer on your baking sheet.
Drizzle with honey, salt and lemon juice. Gently toss with a spoon to coat evenly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until strawberries have darkened in color and are swimming in a thin layer of syrup. Remove from the oven
and serve hot or allow to cool completely store in your fridge up to a week.

With vanilla ice cream, topped with a drizzle of good olive oil
